WHO WE ARE

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in community building, Urban Strategies has helped residents and community stakeholders design and implement a wide range of transformative projects in distressed communities around the United States.

Urban Strategies helps families live healthy, productive lives in safe, stable, self-sustaining urban communities.  We achieve results by working with residents, community leaders and dedicated stakeholders to develop a consensus vision.  We help them to obtain necessary resources and we train resident leaders to sustain the transformation.

We have broad experience and success in many endeavors that are critical to the success of redeveloping neighborhoods:

• Planning and coordinating community revitalization projects with physical, social service, and economic development components that incorporate financial, institutional, political and community-based stakeholders;
• Integrating social service support into the physical redevelopment of communities and matching local, state, federal and private resources to those efforts;
